An abstract oil of molten rust—glowing, serrated, alive—foreground and background reaching like memory’s heat. Thick impasto ridges melt into translucent washes, tensioning solidity and dissolution. Blue layers, from ultramarine to washed cerulean, fold like recollections slipping into a well, edges softening as they recede. Striking yellow ribbons slice through, their luminosity sharpened by surrounding blues. Wild black lines—razor-thin to viscous—scribble phantom forms and forgotten gestures. Mint-green areas thrust through the hot rust, cooling and renewing the pace. All rests on a faint background of light cobalt washed thin with lost gray lines. The result: half-remembered moments where color and mark are memory’s grammar—beautiful and elusive.
